Hi All,

1.99.2 is out there, how does this release notice sound:

New Version 1.99.2 Released



Notable Changes (from 1.99.1):
- public browsing users can now interact with _all_ types of problems
- you can control the display engine used for an <m> tag
   for example: <m display="tth">
- Parameter Helper works again
- can clear all bombs in a hierarchy of directories
- What's New screen, all boxes now work
- <div> is supported in printing

Bug fixes:
- tex in helpfiles works correctly again
- no longer cache the error page as the thumbnail of the resource
- <gnuplot> print again
- checking of the instructors answer in <numericalresponse> and <formularesponse> works correctly for vector style answers, and displays better information
- WebCT 4 import supports the numerical style questions more fully  
- track student xml file parsing is much faster
- printing resources with <p align="something"> will work better when </p> is not used
- a bunch of other small things


To install this update:

1) You will need to be running Fedora Core 2 or 3 or 4 to work
   (SuSE 9.2 and 9.3 support is coming soon.)


2) Use yum to update your machine and then install the
      LONCAPA-prerequisites

yum update
yum install LONCAPA-prerequisites



3) Download the new LON-CAPA tarball from
wget http://install.lon-capa.org/versions/loncapa-1.99.2.tar.gz

and untar it

tar xzvf loncapa-1.99.2.tar.gz



4) Run the UPDATE script as root
cd loncapa-1.99.2
su
./UPDATE



5) restart the system services
/etc/rc.d/init.d/loncontrol stop
/etc/rc.d/init.d/loncontrol start
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
