Can we do this using CVS? Martin has read access already to CVS and
Matthew had committed the spec and other bits there already.

(But it looked out of date to me? Can yopu commit the 1-3 rpm spec
file?)

the loncapafile.lpml file in loncapa/doc/loncapafiles

is the one where installation directories and other things are
controlled.

That is where you will find the fedora2 strings.
