<pre>I tried installing these on rh9, seemed to install O.K.
Had to install about 25 perl modules by hand. ( using loncapa-0.99.2 ).
./TEST returns the following:
SYNOPSIS

All perl modules needed by LON-CAPA appear to be present.
3 CPAN distributions are out-dated on this LON-CAPA system.
14 CPAN distributions are an exact match (based on version number).
18 CPAN dists have a version number higher than expected (probably okay).

I have the <a
href="http://install.loncapa.org/resources/rh8/mod_perl-1.26-5rh8.i386.rpm">mod_perl-1.26-5rh8.i386.rpm</a> installed.
I saw the BUG 856 report where you suggested using mod_perl 2 0r 1.99, but apparently that does not work with Apache 1.3 ?
Any suggestions?

Hi All,
I have built a modperl 1.26 and an apache 1.X for redhat 8 from the
redhat 7.3 sources.
It appears to work.
I'd love to hear reports from people.
Especicailly from someone trying these on Redhat 9, I think it may
possibly work.
