[LON-CAPA-admin] [External] Re: Open Stax Libraries at FSU

I have a some OpenStax problems coded in
/res/winona/NMoore/Open Stax College Physics 2e/
The problems are all open-sourced, so you should be able to copy/modify them if you’d like.

From what I remember hearing, the FSU archive was produced by a fancy+automated copy+paste from the solution manual.  The problems were closed-source so I ended up emailing a professor there when my students found typos.

If there’s some other archive of OpenStax problems, I’d love to know how to use it

Do you know of anyone I could contact just in case there is a backup of the question code? We would be willing to host the libraries at Ohio University if given the code and permission. If there was a system backup floating around, there are a couple of directories that would do the trick.

Yes. The FSU Lon-capa system was taken offline by the previous Physics department chair.

As far as I know, no attempt to conserve access to Open Stax was made.
