Mark,

The LON-CAPA library server at Florida State is now back online, as of 1/17.

Thanks are due to the LON-CAPA administrator at FSU for restoring this service for the LON-CAPA Community after a hardware failure.

If browse access to the fsu and fsuk12 content libraries remains unavailable on your LON-CAPA server(s) at Ohio, you will need to force a reconnection to loncapa10.fsu.edu for each server affected, or wait until loncron runs at 5:10 am local time on 1/18 on your server(s).

One way to force a reconnection is to point a web browser at /adm/login?domain=fsu on each of your LON-CAPA servers, and then attempt to login as a (fictitous) user in the fsu domain.  Another way is to use command line access and issue the command:

ps -ef  |grep DEAD

and then kill the process ID for the dead lonc child (owned by user: www) for , loncapa10.fsu.edu, e.g.,

www <childPID> <parentPID>  lonc: loncapa10.fsu.edu >> DEAD << Wed Jan 17 05:21:10 2024

Just for completeness, we do also have some high schools actively using some problems from the fsuK12
domain as well.   We also use some problems from capa-library at fsu.
