Hi,
> I added ko,pm into loncom/localize/localize folder
To include ko as a selectable language code from the drop-down menu in
the domain configuration menu you will need to do the following:
1. Update the language.tab file.
wget -O /home/httpd/lonTabs/language.tab
'http://source.loncapa.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/loncom/publisher/language.tab?rev=1.26;content-type=text%2Fplain'
2. Download the latest version of the ko.pm lexicon file.
wget -O /home/httpd/lib/perl/Apache/localize/ko.pm
'http://source.loncapa.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/loncom/localize/localize/ko.pm?rev=1.3;content-type=text/plain'
chown www:www /home/httpd/lib/perl/Apache/localize/ko.pm
3. Edit the version of /home/httpd/lib/perl/Apache/loncommon.pm to
include the differences between rev. 1.1075.2.93 and rev. 1.1075.2.94
You can view the relevant changes via this link:
http://source.loncapa.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/loncom/interface/loncommon.pm.diff?r1=1.1075.2.93;r2=1.1075.2.94
4. Reload the web server
/etc/init.d/httpd reload
Notes:
(a) loncommon.pm rev. 1.1075.2.94 is tagged for 2.11.1, so if your are
willing to wait until 2.11.1 is released (in a day or to) you can skip
step 3.
(b) As ko.pm is not officially supported in 2.11.1 you will need to
repeat step 1 (above) after you update 2.11.0 to 2.11.1
(c) The changes in loncommon.pm (item 3 above) fix an encoding issue
in the "Default locale for dates" drop-down list which affected some
of the items in the language selection list in the "Default language"
drop-down list.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Stuart Raeburn
