Maged,

Correct.

Unfortunately the required distro-specific code for Ubuntu (to check
in /etc/apache2 instead), was missing from the
lonnet::parse_dns_checksums_tab()  routine in lonnet.pm rev.
1.1172.2.52 (included in 2.11.0). This omission results in the
spurious output you report from the nightly run of checkforupdates.pl
on Ubuntu servers on which LON-CAPA 2.11.0 is installed.

See an earlier reply of mine to a similar question to the mailing list
in July:

http://mail.lon-capa.org/pipermail/lon-capa-admin/2014-July/002867.html

for discussion of a solution (the changes in lonnet.pm rev.
1.1172.2.53 discussed there will be included in 2.11.1).
