[LON-CAPA-admin] Problem with Resources Getting Renamed?

I don't think this semester. But the course has been cloned a couple of
times.
So I just now flipped the "Keep all resources up-to-date" switch, and
now while on the library server I can successfully navigate to those
resources.
I can also once again browse published resources at MSU from within the
course on the Library Server. Why would the "up-to-date" switch impact
my ability to browse resources at MSU?
Immediate problem is solved, but still some interesting lingering questions.
