Yes - this server for some reason takes a long time to do some 
network stuff like ssh but the webpage loads fine. Haven't being able 
to figure out why.

Is this in lonnet.pm?

A separate problem.
- What are the codes for <authtype>? I tried both loc and local and 
they gave the same error message -  && An invalid authentication type 
was provided for the new user - showtell, so the user was not 
enrolled in the course.
