Due to popular demand CHECKRPMS by default is run in 'No kernel' mode,
thus it ignores kernel updates.

If youd like to have it check for kernel updates remove the -nk from
line 114 in CHECKRPMS

Notice the -nk in the check-rpms run listed here:

> perl /usr/local/loncapa/bin/check-rpms -nk -v -dl -d /tmp/loncapa_rpm_updates --rpmuser www -ftp distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/redhat/updates/7.3/en/os
