Hi Nathan,
> Students are viewing via Quickgrades.
Quickgrades is probably showing parts completed, not points. Please check
the text on it. If you want it to show parts, go into the course parameters
and set the 'standard grading' parameter to 'yes'. Courses created after 1.0
was installed have this set to yes. Courses created during the summer probably
do not.
> TA is viewing from Course Statistics
> and Charts (CHRT).
The chart has two modes - scores and tries. Scores mode shows their score
(computed by multiplying the problem part weight by the students award on the
part). The totals shown in this mode are the sum of the students score on
each sequence, compared to the maximum possible. In tries mode the number of
tries required for each part is shown. The total shown is the total number
of parts completed, compared to the maximum number of parts.
Scores mode should show what you want (19/19 if every problem is correct).
If it does not, please file a bug report against the chart and make hallmat3
in domain msu an instructor in your course so I can take a look myself.
The spreadsheet shows the grades organzied by problem, not problem part, so
there is less confusion to be had there.
Let me know if this isn't clear or if you need more help. You may want to
email me directly as this list may not be the best for this discussion.
Hope this helps!
Matthew
