[LON-CAPA-admin] check-rpms and krb

After installing krb5-devel-1.2.4-3.i386.rpm and krb5-libs-1.2.4-3.i386.rpm
check-rpms still reports that I need to update these rpms. Is this
because I also have krb5-devel-1.2.4-1 and krb5-libs-1.2.4-1 on my
system? And why do I still have these on the system? Should I remove
them manually?
