[LON-CAPA-admin] Kernel upgrade: segmentation fault

When I try to upgrade the kernel on schubert to v. 2.2.22-6.2.3, I get a
segmentation fault:

 rpm --test  -ihv kernel-smp-2.2.22-6.2.3.i686.rpm
 kernel-headers-2.2.22-6.2.3.i386.rpm kernel-utils-2.2.22-6.2.3.i386.rpm

 error: cannot open Depends index using db1 - Invalid argument (22)
 Segmentation fault

After running this test I did not go ahead and attempt to install this
kernel. Any ideas what the problem might be here.

Currently, I'm running 2.2.22-6.2.2 smp kernel


Any help appreciated.
